Profitability Evaluation

The Profitability Management module has been designed to support a process which, with different purposes, can be put in place at different times of the Project's life-cycle:

  • during feasibility phase;
  • during proposal phase;
  • during start-up phase;
  • during preparation or revision of the annual budget phase;
  • ……
  • following relevant changes (context, scope, design, plans, ... ..) that occurred.

The purpose is always to evaluate with the highest level of reliability as possible the profitability generated by the Project (for the past) and expected (for the future).

Features

The Profitability Management module is the main tool of integration between the Project Control process and the Enterprise Control process.

The main features of this module will allow to:

  • perform the profitability analysis of the Project (Revenues -Costs -Margin -Turnover -Cash Flow) both “at whole life” and “period by period” on the basis of actual data and estimate to complete acquired by all individual modules of the system.
  • update and freeze periodic revisions of EAC during the life of the project, and to analyze occurred variances and trends;
  • analyze the daily evolution of the EAC’s composition in relation to all elements of the control structures(WBS, OBS, CBS);
  • prepare the ETC’s data which to be periodically transferred to ERP system.
