Internal Services Management

Internal Services module was designed to provide effective support during the phases of budgeting, planning and control of the work developed inside.

The main features of this module will allow:

During the planning phase

  • breakdown the work in easily recognizable entities during the development of the same (process, phases, activities, deliverables);
  • assign to the individual entities defined a budget of hours congruent with one assigned at Work Order level identifying, if appropriate, skills needed (resources and / or pools);

 During progress detection and forcasting phases

  •  measure the progress of work in different and tailored ways to suit the characteristics of each "planned entity" (up to document level if deemed necessary);
  • detect the accounted hours at the level of detail deemed “useful and sustainable" (Work Order, Position, Phase, Activity, etc.), also acquiring the data from the ERP system through the ERP Integration module;

  • evaluate and insert ETC (quantities and time) at the level of each "planned entity" by the responsible for the execution of the same;
  • make performance analysis and ETC evaluation with the Earned Value technique;
  • declare and formalize (by the head of responsibility center to which the job was assigned) the amount of hours required for the completion of the whole Work Order (ODL);

  • change orders occurring after the assignment of the initial Work Order;

  • manage the "need of occasional subcontracting" (assignment to external suppliers of activities previously planned as internal) in the event of an overload situation;

The results of the elaborations made within the Internal Services module are transferred to the Bugeting & Cost Control module, thus contributing to the progress assessment of the Project as a whole.
