A key feature of Bridge is to make available to users at all time the needed information to conduct effectively Planning and Control activities without having access to other enterprise systems.
Systems in which the needed information natively resides are::
In particular, the functions related to the exchange information with external systems can be:
a.Already present in the system (and therefore do not require ad hoc development activities) as in case of:
- importing of time programs from external systems (i.e. PrimaveraorMS Project):
In this, instance guided procedures for the for the configuration of the data acquisition elements (activities, start/end dates, advancements, defined custom fields), for the mapping with the values present in Bridge, for the acquisition and periodical updating of the same;
- exporting programs to external systems:
In this case, automatic configuration tools of timing programs reporting the values present in Bridge's modules and the associated data of time positioning are available;
- importing, via excel, of data downloaded from external systems with "field mapping" capability, data acquisition and registration of the same in the Bridge environment;
- exporting, via excel, of data contained in each module of Bridge system.
b. Developed "ad hoc", via custom procedures realized with different modalities in function of the level of stability and the opening of external systems (origin and/or destination of the information exchanged) and in function of the level of automation required by the customer.
These procedures are carried out by our facility development and maintenance on the basis of specifications agreed with the customer.
